Vägbeskrivning
A lovely walk around some of the less frequented tracks in the area between the Powerful Owl tracks area and the Lookout area of Mt Coot-tha.
Starting from the Mt Coot-tha car park which is on the road that leads up to the lookout you proceed down to Slaughter Falls car park and then up Pinnacle trail. Before the end of the Pinnacle trail you take a right to follow a very rough and steep descent track that descends to the platform area with in East Ithaca Creek.
The trail then follows East Ithaca Creek taking several turns at various junctions up to just before it's conclusion before we rejoin the Litchfield track.
The track includes taking a left turn off one of the Spurs leading off the Litchfield track and follows a traverse across the slopes below the lookout to eventually end up at Slaughter Falls before we assend an old track that is hard to follow back to Mt Coot-tha car park.
A large majority of the trails used in this track do not display on any map of Mt Coot-tha. Of note was the abundance of Wildlife present which has retreated to this area less travelled by people. Check out the pictures of the yellow tailed black cockatoos.

Good way to see wildlife and get away from the crowds.
