Vägbeskrivning

One of my favourites already. The trail is a bit difficult at the beginning (first 2 kilometres), but then it becomes easier and full of wonderful views. Among other things you will see Fioletovo village from above. This is a village of the Molokans.

The best times to pass the trail are spring and autumn, but summer will still be nice. In winter it may be quite snowy.

We climbed Voskesar mountain while travelling to Matosavank. It is a small and nice mountain. There is also Kaghnut nearby (just in front of Voskesar), so if you have enough time you can climb it too.

You will find sparkling water only at the end of the trail, after visiting the monastery, so make sure you have enough water with you.

On rainy days the trail will be in the mud.
