Started at entrance to Camping Maçanet De Cabrenys, a wonderful, peaceful, and friendly campsite where we camped overnight.
The route takes you to the small village of Oliveda, then down a steep slope to Restaurant Moli d'en Robert. Then it's a gradual uphill climb to the beautiful town of Maçanet de Cabrenys. The route back has a nice detour to the waterfall, Font de la Farga, and then follows a rough riverside trail back to the road. Througout, there are many cork trees with their lower-down bark stripped away and harvested, which makes for a distinctive forest landscape.
