Enjoyable mostly flat walk from Latchi Harbour to Polis via Neo Chorio. You start from a free car park opposite the municipal beach, just past the harbour.
This route includes footpaths, quiet roads, farm tracks, and one very short stretch of a busy-ish highway.
It’s pretty flat all the way around and passes through some attractive farmland. There is no shade or water available until you drop back down to the Polis campsite.
You’ll see sheep and goats along the way, and there were a few dogs chained up or behind fences who barked a lot but weren’t any bother. However, if you take your own dog, it’s probably best to keep them on a lead.
From the edge of the campsite the route passes several restaurants, bars, and ice cream shops, especially around the harbour area.
This could be a good walk for the winter as there should be very little mud to deal with on this trail.
