Vägbeskrivning

The park is closed for any parking so we went to the Hafeet road where the elevation starts for cars. We followed the wall boundary upto the trail starting point which is opposite a restaurant and its quite visible as its a sandy road to the mountains.

We parked our car on Hafeet road- roundabout before the Mubazzara park entrance roundabout and walked upto the Hafeet road exit.

The trail is marked , quite doable, has elevation gains which are steep and made difficult due to loose rocks and gravels. It is good for an experienced hiker but not for beginners as you need lot of control while climbing and more when going down.

The views until the top point are fantastic. At the top, you can have a cup of coffee or juice at the cafeteria and enjoy the view.

I would advise to wear gloves as you need to hold rocks and they are quite sharp. Hike is shaded and exposed on equal intervals. The starting point distance just added extra distance and time to the trail else the main trail took 2.5 hour going up and 1 hour coming down.

Be safe and enjoy this beautiful hike.

You can't park at the trail head. I would recommend parking here (Al Ain Park
https://maps.app.goo.gl/qkXW1Y71UuehZxko8) and start from there. There's shade, restaurants, water, toilets, etc.

Also, I would rate it moderate to difficult going up but difficult going down.

Just went to hike last week with some family, and denied entry due to No Al Hosn or recent PCR test. Also advised that hiking was prohibited. I've hike it many times before.. but just note it's prohibited.

Hello, I'm in Al Ain for a few days and would like to go for hike in Jebel Hafeet. I have no car, can I ask a taxi to drop me? Where should I start and can I get easily a taxi after to come back to the city?
Are there hiking paths or is on the same road where cars pass?
I saw some opening hours, can I still go very early?
Sorry for so many questions, thanks in advance for your help 😊
