The Dartlo-Kvavlo-Dano loop is a picturesque and fairly easy hike in the heart of Tusheti, Georgia. Beginning in the historic village of Dartlo, famous for its medieval stone towers and well-preserved architecture, the loop takes you through the scenic landscapes.
As you ascend towards Kvavlo, you'll encounter breathtaking views of rolling hills and ancient terraced fields. For me personally this was one of the most beautiful hikes. We hung out on the top of the old tower remnants that offers stunning views 360 degrees. You can just sit there for hours. There’s a restaurant should you want to eat up there.
The route continues to Dano, a serene and remote settlement, before circling back to Dartlo. This trek offers an immersive experience of Tusheti's natural beauty, cultural history, and tranquil rural life.
