This is a really beautiful walk.
There is a good parking place just outside Caraybat, to the west.
During the first part, on your way up from 530 to 950m., you will pass the dolomites very closely. A very nice track leads you gradually up, with quite a few times splendid views into the vallys and as far as the high Pyrenees.
At a heighth of 840 the yellow marked track joins the GR 107 for a while until the GR 107 sharply turns north. Then the track climbs to 950 m. giving you marvellous views to the east (Mont Segur), the south and the west from a wide open field.
Then the track goes back into the woods again and starts its descent, joining the GR 107 again.
At a junction where the GR 107 turns north again the track follows a broad dirt road giving you magnificent views, being out of the woods now, into the valleys and also on the dolomites again, now above you.
Upon reaching Soula you can follow the D9 or take a track through the fields, as we did, back to Caraybat.

Nous avons suivi cette balade, c'était pas mal mais je m'attendais à plus facile pour le novice que je suis. La première partie monte pas mal. Attention au départ de ne pas passer devant la propriété privée mais, en bas de cette ferme.

Easily accessible from Toulouse by car, very nice short trail. Parking spot right in the beggining of the trail.

Very very nice trail. Astonishing views and very easy to do, even with kids. Also visiting Soula, Enrivere and Caraybat was very nice.
