Vägbeskrivning
This is the widest and most interesting route around the Blue Lake area. It encompasses both the major ridges that surround the valley leading to Blue Lake. This root is best done during early to Middle spring when the wild flowers are all blooming.
The track starts by following the Neembeema track out to a lookout that overlooks the beaches of Stradbroke Island. The route gradually climbs the ridge leaving to the lookout.
The track been sent via the Dakabin track to Blue Lake joining at its conclusion the Kaboora track. The recorded track then visits the far south end of the lake where you get great close views across blue lake and then the lookout at the other end of the lake.
The track concludes climbing up the hill of the Kabul track to the ridge on the other side of Blue Lake where you get great views of the south end of the island before descending to the start.
Essentially this track is sandy and strongly supported with the normal litter of the forest to give firm footing.
