ROUTE DESCRIPTION:

You leave the estate going down towards the historical center of Capraia e Limite from where you can admire the view over the city of Montelupo Fiorentino and the river Arno that, after having crossed Florence, flows towards Pisa to flow into the Tyrrhenian Sea. As soon as you enter the main road, Via Salvator Allende, you turn to left towards the Arno river, cross the bridge and go down to the underpass of the railway, pay close attention, the passage is one-way. At the roundabout, go to the right to go up to another bridge over the Pesa river. As soon as you pass it you turn to left entering a road that runs along the wall of the river embankment on the left and a municipal park on the right. We are on the cycle lane of the Pesa river that can lead to the village of Bargino along the Florence / Siena highway. Follow the cycle path until you reach the Turbone area. Take via di Pulica, cross a bridge and go uphill, after a few hundred meters turn left into via Bramasole. Continue for some distance along the highway FI-PI-LI and you enter along a beautiful tree-lined driveway, after a few kilometers you pass under the bridge of the highway and continue into the woods. You get to the site of the excavations of the Villa Romana del Verginio, address Via di Bramasole, cycle lane path of the Pesa river, 50056 Montelupo fiorentino FI. (https://goo.gl/maps/aR2FdctTFyt).
Go back along the same road to return to the village of Montelupo Fiorentino. Once back in the village, famous for the decoration of ceramics, we recommend a visit to the Museum dedicated to this art. You return to Cantagallo via the railway underpass and then the bridge over the Arno River. Instead of climbing from the center of Capraia continue on the Via Salvator Allende for about 600 meters until you find the right Via Valicarda on which going up we will return to the Estate.

DESCRIZIONE PERCORSO:
Si lascia la tenuta scendendo verso il centro storico di Capraia e Limite da dove si può ammirare la veduta sulla città di Montelupo Fiorentino e sul fiume Arno che, dopo aver attraversato Firenze, scorre verso Pisa per sfociare nel Mar Tirreno. Non appena si entra nella strada principale, Via Salvator Allende, si gira a SN verso il fiume Arno, si attraversa il ponte e si scende verso il sottopasso della ferrovia, prestare molta attenzione, il passaggio è a senso unico. Alla rotonda si va a DX per risalire verso un altro ponte sul fiume Pesa. Non appena lo si passa si gira a SN entrando in una strada che costeggia il muro dell'argine del fiume sulla SN ed un parco comunale sulla DX. SIamo sulla ciclabile dela fiume Pesa che può portare fino al paese di Bargino lungo la superstrada Firenze/Siena. Si segue la ciclabile fino a giungere alla localtà Turbone. Si imbocca via di Pulica, si attraversa un ponte e si fa per salire, dopo poche centinaia di metri si gira sulla sinistra in via Bramasole. Si prosegue per qualche tratto costeggiando la superstrada FI-PI-LI e si entra lungo un bel viale sterrato alberato, dopo qualche chilometro si passa sotto il ponte della superstrada e si prosegue nel bosco. Si arriva fino al sito degli scavi della Villa Romana del Verginio, indirizzo Via di Bramasole, Pista ciclopedonale della Pesa, 50056 Montelupo fiorentino FI. ( https://goo.gl/maps/aR2FdctTFyt ).
Si torna indietro percorrendo la stessa strada per tornare al paese di Montelupo F.no. Una volta tornati in paese, famoso per la decorazione della ceramica, si consiglia una visita al Museo dedicato a questa arte. Si rientra a Cantagallo tramite il sottopasso ferroviario e poi il ponte sul Fiume Arno. Invece di salire dal centro di Capraia proseguire sulla Via Salvator Allende per circa 600 mt fino a ritrovare sulal DX Via Valicarda sulla quale salendo torneremo alla Tenuta.
